January 2022 Recap

Happy New Year to you all! We hope you had an enjoyable Christmas and New Year that wasn’t too impacted by Covid.

Reporting Suite is Live!

It is fantastic to announce that the Reporting Suite is now live in Hospital to Home.

This opens up the data in Hospital to Home to our users in a whole new way, allowing for custom reports to be built and published to the organisation.

In keeping with our agile approach to development and the value we put on the input of our users, the reporting suite release is an MVP and we look forward to gathering feedback on how we can iterate the functionality so that it delivers the maximum benefit.

Monthly User Group

This month we held our first H2H monthly user group meeting. It was fantastic to bring some familair faces from the original project, and some new faces together from those who have recently signed up to the product.

It was a great session where we presented what has been happening recently with H2H and what is on the roadmap. Most importantly, there was opportunity for the group to discuss two key areas of potential development and to contribute their D2A subject matter expertise. We will continue to hold these session every month as they are an invaluable way for us to get direct user feedback and ensure that our developments remain truly user centric.

If you are not yet a customer of H2H, you can change that and join these sessions too, just drop us a line here:

Exciting Developments in Progress and Kicking off Soon

Work is continuing on interoperability – there is exciting work currently taking place with North Lincs and Goole Hospital Trust and we are developing that integration to FHIR standards, a real positive for H2H utilising the most advanced API standards in the world of Health.

We are also exploring a bulk upload option for people on the discharge pathway. This is very much in the scoping stage at the moment but something to watch out for and we will keep you posted on developments.

This first quarter of 2022 should see us kick-off the work on Intermediate Care. As we speak to more and more Local Authorities and Adult Social Care teams the Intermediate Care requirement is one which is continually raised. This much needed extension of the H2H functionality will be a key development in 2022 and we look forward to working with our existing users on shaping this work.

Alongside the big projects we are incrementally releasing smaller improvements to the system from our backlog, on a fortnightly basis. These requirements are a mix of existing requirements, new requirements and back end system requirements.

Cyber Essentials Plus Certification

This month has seen the key compliance step of Tech in Care gaining Cyber Essentials Plus certification! Our technical provider Maldaba and our commercial partner CC2i already have CE+ and so it is great that Tech in Care now joins the party with certification in our right.

Next up in February is the Data Security Protection Toolkit (DSPT) so all being well, the February recap will announce our compliance to this standard too.
